Sullivan, commenting on the recent arrest of a foreign Mercedes-Benz employee who was detained pursuant to Alabama’s new immigration law. Sullivan points out that Mercedes-Benz has created quite a few jobs in Alabama, which further suggests that Alabama’s new immigration law, by any objective measure, is already doing more harm than it could possibly prevent.
